Research

Renewable energies, ecosystem research and nature protection, as well as forest protection and environmental monitoring are the focal topics in the research at the Faculty of Forest and Environment. In the last two years more than twenty projects were run, financed by third parties. Besides long-lasting cooperation in research with domestic, European and North-American research institutions contacts with East-European and South-American research institutions are of growing importance.
